Cousins | Ferndale, WA Family Session

I have always loved working with kids. It is my field of study, and the career I chose and will pick back up full time once my babies are no longer babies. Shooting families and children has been fun for me, but it wasn't until becoming a mother myself that I feel I truly captured childhood the way it was meant to be captured. Something clicked though, and now embracing that chaos and meeting families exactly where they are is my favorite thing. This group of cousins was wild, and that sweet baby gap looking model in the white romper is referred to as a "sour patch kid" by her beautiful mama. We played and laughed and danced. We let the childhood run free, and I think what was captured is pretty perfect. This little village of cousins will grow up with built in best friends, and always having someone in their corner.
