Scott + Alicia | Lairmont Manor - Bellingham, WA

There were so many things I loved about this day, I'm not even sure where to start. Scott and Alicia were definitely one of my favorite couples of 2017. I know I always say this, but truly, they were the exact type of client I love having. They spent the morning getting ready at The Chrysalis Inn in Fairhaven, WA. We captured a few of the details of the day, but what I remember most was meeting their family and friends. They picked the best bridal party. From the second I walked in the hotel I knew it was going to be a fun day. Also, Alicia's bridesmaids had french macaroons, which are apparently addicting. Very addicting. After hanging out with her sweet girl crew, I went to snap a few photos of Scott. His mom was pouring him a shot (and took one herself), and I was again reassured this would be the best way to round out my 2017 wedding season.

This was the longest day I had away from Kinley, but Scott and Alicia made it fly by. My mantra in the last year became "You can't pour from an empty cup." Weddings are long days away from family, but days like this leave me so full of joy and energy. I was ready to go home to my family and pour into them because I had an amazing day laughing, capturing love, and spending time with an incredible group of humans (also eating a million french macaroons). Scott and Alicia, your love is so beautiful to watch, and you have surrounded yourselves with coolest tribe of family and friends. I'm so excited to continue capturing your adventure as your family grows.
