Josiah + Miranda | Axton Events - Bellingham, WA

Last year I was hiding two things at the end of Summer. My pregnancy with Kinley, and Josiah's plan to propose to Miranda. I told Miranda I was pregnant, but managed to not slip up that I would soon be hiding in the woods to capture the night that would be the beginning of a new chapter for them.

As much as I love getting to just enjoy a wedding with my family, I was so excited and honored to photograph this day for the Sebens. I got to be part of the first look, and moments that otherwise get missed by most. I may have cried my way through several of them, but it was for sure happy tears. Miranda and Josiah, your wedding day was so. much. fun. You were so laid back, even when there were a couple hiccups. You stayed focused on what the day was really about, and didn't let the small details get in the way of that. I know that may seem small, but trust me, after seeing countless couples get married, this is something invaluable. I love that I can honestly say I am truly excited to watch you both grow in your marriage...and I'm really excited to snuggle your future babies!
